Getting Started

HedgeDesk is a native macOS app for AI-powered investment research. Download from the Mac App Store, accept the disclaimer, then enter any ticker to run your first analysis.

How It Works

Subscriptions

HedgeDesk Pro unlocks all tabs — DCF models, portfolio modelling, catalyst scanner, playbook, and growth engine. Manage or cancel your subscription in System Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

Privacy

How do I connect an AI provider?

Open the Settings tab and choose your preferred AI provider — Apple Intelligence (built-in on supported Macs), or bring your own API key for Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, or Kimi. The built-in on-device engine requires no API key.

What does HedgeDesk Pro include?

The free tier includes Instrument Analysis and Settings. HedgeDesk Pro ($5.99/month or $59.99/year) unlocks DCF & WACC Models, Portfolio Modelling, Catalyst Scanner, Playbook, and Growth Engine.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open System Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your Mac. Find HedgeDesk Pro and tap Cancel. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Is my data sent to external servers?

Portfolio data and analysis results stay on your device. If you use a cloud AI provider (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.), your analysis prompts are sent to that provider's API. The built-in on-device engine processes everything locally.

Which Macs are supported?

HedgeDesk requires macOS 15.0 (Sequoia) or later on Apple Silicon (M1 or newer). The built-in AI engine and Apple Intelligence features require macOS 26.0 (Tahoe) or later.
